Testimonials

I've been a student, practitioner, and recipient of massage for over 6 years, and I'm very particular in choosing my massage therapist. Jodi is the best I've found. She's very knowledgeable, grounded, tuned into her clients and she continues to learn new massage techniques that make her even more of an expert in her craft. As a former college athlete, student of the human frame and through my bi-weekly sessions with Jodi, I've come to trust in the healing power of massage. Thank you for sharing your gift!

Jodi is awesome! I've had chronic neck and upper back pain for years and just a few visits has made a big difference for me. She really worked hard to find my trouble spots and get to know my body... something that other massage therapists simply did not do. She's strong... she knows the body well... and she is truly devoted to helping people. Now that my neck and upper back is not as tight, I'm climbing harder and enjoying my days of beach volleyball a lot more!

I could not have made it through my pregnancy without the help of Jodi. Throughout my second and third trimester I had lower back pain, sciatic pain, and a lot of swelling. The relief I received from pregnancy massage was amazing. I would recommend massage to any women going through the discomfort of pregnancy, you really don't have to suffer! Also, when the doctor gives you the green light that the baby is mature enough to deliver at any time, Jodi can apply different pressure points to help stimulate your body into labor and it worked for me! The day after I had my hour pregnancy massage and she pressed a few pressure points I delivered. She is truly an awesome massage therapist.

Jodi has worked on me only 3 times and I will tell you right now that she has a gift. Her intuition combined with her knowledge and skill turned my chronic elbow problem around by 80% in 3 visits. This therapist knows what she is doing!!!

As an aging, yet fit, baby boomer my body aches from years of sports injuries, daily workouts and lots of mountain biking. I have tried many massage therapists during my lifetime. I have known Jodi about 5 years and her massage is more comprehensive than any other massage I have ever had. Jodi knows what my body needs and soothes every muscle and tissue I have. Besides her constantly growing knowledge base, she is delightful and personable, making my 1 1/2 routine massage session a time I look forward to. My ACL-less knee, sore neck, aching back, and other nagging tissues pains always feel better when Jodi unleashes her massage strength and passion on my tissue to make me feel good all over again.

Of all the things I did during pregnancy to stay healthy and happy, weekly massage was by far the best thing I did. Jodi made any aches go away and had lots of tips for stretches that helped tremendously. Jodi helped me stay active during my entire pregnancy by massaging away my soreness and aches, which helped make labor quite easy and relaxed. Baby Connor even knew Jodi’s voice and would start moving around during my massages, I think he really liked them too.”

I have been a certified instructor with Jazzercise® since 2003, after being an active student for many years before that. In 2006, a herniated disc in my L5/S1 joint kept me from doing any kind of exercise for the bulk of the year, and the prospect of doing exercise involving impact seemed rather grim... I was on the verge of losing what had become an integral part of my active lifestyle and what has been the only form of exercise that I get excited about. After many forms of treatment and seeing a great physical therapist, I was able to begin the path back to instructing again. My low back and the surrounding muscles will always be affected by my injury - my regular massage therapy from Jodi Dayton is vital to allowing me to retain the lifestyle that I had previously. Jodi is in tune with my muscles and is able to not only identify but work with my problem areas to get me back on track and continue teaching my classes. What I love most about Jodi's massages is that they are therapeutic and healing - it is never a "one massage fits all" attitude with her! She customizes each session based on how my muscles are reacting and responding, and I always feel like I am put back together again when I go home.

Jodi is great. I used to play professional beach volleyball. Now, I run a business and still stay in the gym consistently. Jodi has helped me to prevent injuries from working out and relieved stress which allows me to focus on my business. She knows exactly what she is doing and she is a true professional. My wife also visits Jodi. I recommend her to all my friends on the Pro Beach Tour.

I play tennis and love all water sports. Three years ago I was at a red light and was hit from behind by a car traveling at approximately 50mph. I had severe whiplash and was left with 2 bulging discs. Needless to say I have chronic pain and can no longer do all the physical things I love to do including my job. Jodi is the best pain relief on the market.

I've been through physical therapy. The doctors recommended pain management. The only thing that brings me any relief is to have Jodi work her magic on my neck. She is an amazing therapist and a wonderful person. I highly recommend her services to anyone with any type of injury or for just an amazing overall massage. Jodi combines her vast knowledge of anatomy with her amazing touch to give the most incredible massage possible.

I have always been somewhat reluctant to go in for therapy, ice baths, tape jobs or any of the other medical externalities associated with being a NCAA Division I athlete. Through the 9 years I have been playing competitive volleyball, I have seen many injuries: displaced ribs, twisted/sprained ankles, rotator cuff tears, back spasms, twisted vertebrae, pulled groins and tearing tendons... and that's only what I have incurred. However, having seen Jodi on multiple occasions to work on loosening up my shoulder and back, I have reduced my back injuries by nearly 50% and almost completely reduced any shoulder injuries. Because of her gift, my body is able to perform at its maximum for it is not hampered by knots and straining muscles; and at my competitive level I always have to perform at my maximum.

Her trade doesn't just stop at the appointment either. She gives detailed instructions and advice on how to prevent further injury through unique stretches, exercises and everyday health tips. So why am I not reluctant to heed her advice over my trainers? Because Jodi genuinely cares about her patients. That kind of attention is lost in college sports' training rooms.

I had a hip injury and Jodi provided a series of hip manipulations that freed my muscles and took pressure off the nerves. This reduced my pain and allowed me begin physical therapy sessions to regain much of my lost flexibility.
